Testimonials

As the Owner and Principal for Goldstream Group, Inc. I worked closely with Beth for seven years on both grant writing and evaluation projects.  Beth is a highly skilled writer who brought in more than $35 million for Alaskan organizations during that time. She is organized, professional and able to synthesize information succinctly and effectively to create successful proposals.  Beth understands the grant writing process from start to finish and can guide clients through the process painlessly.  She pays attention to detail, anticipates stumbling blocks and addresses them, and manages tight timelines without fail.

Grant funding for economic development projects can be difficult to obtain without the right organization, the right timing, and the right voice.  Beth provided the written voice for our Western Diversification Program proposal which ultimately funded our Metallurgical Industrial Development Acceleration and Studies (MIDAS) program. MIDAS was a complicated, multi-partner, multi-funder endeavor, but Beth was able to work with KAST, the funding agency, and all project partners to assemble a successful proposal.  She was highly organized and efficient with her time and strategic with her questions. She understood the magnitude of our project and clearly detailed the need, strategy, and goals of MIDAS. Her excellent writing skills conveyed all of this to the primary federal funder, and the proposal successfully launched the MIDAS project.

In addition, she wrote numerous successful grants for GLOWS, our youth science education and outreach program which managed to keep the program alive despite a very difficult financial environment for such programming at the time.  I highly recommend Beth’s services to anyone seeking grant funding.

Beth helped our organization secure funding for the first stage of the Nelson Innovation Centre through the BC Rural Dividend Program. She participated in planning sessions and worked to ensure that all proposal needs were met. She delivered the proposal on time and within budget which helped us launch the project in our community.

Beth has successfully written both state and federal grants for our organization.  She pays attention to detail, communicates well with all members of the team and integrates the required information seamlessly into the grant proposals. She asks the right questions and guides our team through the grant writing process with ease.  We have worked with Beth on three major grants in the past two years and have successfully obtained more than $1.4 million in funding to prevent and treat opioid addiction in the communities we serve.

Sara Fann, Executive Director
Cook Inlet Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Beth and I worked together on many grant applications when I was the executive director of the Resource Center for Parents and Children and she the associate director. With Beth at the helm of our agency’s grant applications, she led us through the proposal process with ease and success. She is a critical thinker who is highly organized in her grant writing process. An excellent writer, she asks the right questions and builds a strong case for funding every time.  Beth successfully wrote federal, state and local proposals for our agency as well as public and private foundation grants.  I would recommend her services to anyone seeking an experienced, highly successful, truly competent grant writer.
